Let me start off by saying I am one happy Mother of the Bride. The Terence Young Project was INCREDIBLE. I had dozens of people tell me that this was the best wedding they have ever been to and the Terence Young Project was a huge part of that. They were fantastic and so friendly and so interactive. We had people dancing the whole night and no one wanted to stop dancing and leave (the sign of a great Band). I just cannot say enough about them. INCREDIBLE! But let me say in closing that the Terence Young Project was worth every penny and if I am ever involved in another event that requires a Band...rest assured...they will be my choice!

The Terence Young Project was absolutely wonderful at our wedding. They were very responsive the week of and made sure that everything was taken care of leading up to Saturday. Terence Young has earned the reputation of one of the most talented and electrifying Lead Guitarist in the world. He has released 10 cds to date, ranging from Smooth Jazz and R&B, to gospel, Christmas, instrumental rock, and his original guitar compositions. 

A native of Elko, SC, Terence Young now resides in Columbia SC where he manages the Terence Young Project, one of the top party bands in the Southeast, while still producing and performing his Jazz Concerts Nationwide.

The Terence Young Project

The Terence Young Project is a 6 member dance/party band from Columbia, SC that was founded by guitarist and CEO Terence Young.  The band is composed of the top musicians and vocalists in South Carolina.  They specialize in performing at Weddings, Corporate Events, Festivals, Concerts and anywhere that people want to have a great time groovin’ with great music!

The Terence Young Project’s audience interaction at events is second to none with world class male and female front singers as well as a strong complement of background vocalists.  In addition to high energy dance music, they can also provide a tasteful and classy smooth jazz set when requested.  In addition, the Terence Young Project includes a DJ on all jobs to provide recorded music before the band and on any breaks to provide a seamless evening of music.
